10 Ways to Curb the Unemployment Rate in India

Unemployment means a person willing to work but not able to find a qualified job. Today our country is facing many problems, but one of the serious problems is of employment. Many Graduates such as Engineers, Doctors, Scientist, are unemployed or working in underemployed. Due to unemployment, we are wasting our country human resources.

The unemployed rate in between age group 15-29 has been increased since 2009-2010. As per the report of the Global Employment Trends 2014 the employment rate raised to 3.8 %.

The level of unemployment in India has shot up to a five-year high of 5 percent in 2015-2016, with the figure significantly higher at 8.7 percent for women as compared to 4.3 percent for the men.

BJP-ruled government at the Centre, which has taken several series of steps to reduce the unemployment. Such as ‘Make in India’ to create jobs for the inclusive growth in the country.

10 Ways to Curb the Unemployment Rate in India

1. The first solution for the Unemployment is to control the rising population of our country. The government should motivated people to have small families. The Government has started the initiative to control the population but still the population is rising.

2. The Quality of the Indian education should be improved. The current education system is not up to the level. The Government keep a strict watch on the education system and try to implement the new ways to generate skilled labor force.

3. Today youth should join the institute or select the course where proper training is given, and the course is as per the current management requirements. Take the course as per your interest and which will bright your future.

The Government worked with the Vocational Training Schools. In Vocational Training education there is the various course available of the government like National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) and Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) Scheme. There are many Vocational Training Schools Training Partners such as ASTM  Skilled Pvt Ltd, Globsyn Skills Development Ltd and  Indianeye Security Pvt Ltd and much more.

The Main purpose of the Vocational Training is to educate the student and give the proper knowledge, in less time to become employ in less time.

4. The Government Should select a committee to look after the schools and the universities. The Syllabus taught is of no use to industries so that the education should be given as per the current requirements of the industries. Before the completing, the education a practical knowledge should be given.

5. The Government should encourage and develop the agriculture-based industries in rural areas so that the rural candidates do not migrate to the urban cities. More employment should be generated in rural areas for the seasonal unemployment people.

6. Rapid Industrialization should be created.

7. Development of the rural areas stop the migration of the rural people to the urban cities, and this will not put more pressure on the urban city jobs.

8. The government should allow more foreign companies to open their unit in India so that more employment opportunities will be available.

9. The Board has to support a person who is looking for the job, interested in getting up the self-employment. Starting a business by working with local development organizations and the other agencies in providing income support to the Back to Work Programme and practical supports, including funds for mentoring.

10. Focusing on young people. As government to the EU proposal for a Youth Support, the Department of Social Protection, together with the Department of Education, has reserved places for some employment and training programs for young people. A total of about 28,000 places available to young people in the year 2015.  Youth unemployment has fallen from the crisis peak of 31% to around 23% now, and the number of youth who is long-term are unemployed has fallen from 36,000 to approximately 17,000.

Reasons why there is unemployment in India

1. Indians do not take jobs which are below their grades. Many of find it difficult to work at the below qualification level job.

2. Many large industries look for the experienced candidate only, for their company.

3. Low wages or salary below the market rate.

4. As per the experience and the analysis from Get Sarkai Naukri, some new government jobs is decreasing every year. The government is not able to create enough jobs keeping in mind the Indian population.

5. There are employment possibilities in India, but the rising population problem effects to the unemployment.

6. In Government sector and some private sector people get the job by giving the bribe. Even the candidate is not that qualified for that position, but if he/she gives the bribe than he gets the job. So to get a government job give a bribe. The qualified applicant remains unemployed because no money to give to bribe.
